Residential buildings with colored elevator towers on Patockova street, Prague 6 – Brevnov and with mirrored elevator towers on Nad Kajetánkou street, Prague 6 – Brevnov.

Design and project documentation of (all professions, specialists) of the reconstruction, revitalization, thermal insulation and extention of the residential buildings from the end of the thirties (architect Antonin Cerny).

These buildings on Patockova street 1413/31, 1412/33, 1411/35, 1410/37 were always residential and municipal. The buildings were extended and there are new glass elevator towers and glass entrance tubes. The glass elevator towers adjacent to the facades are colored - yellow, blue, red and green. The elevator cabin itself is colorful; outside and inside. They have a window that enables riders to see the view of the opposite slope on Patockova street. The small apartments inside these buildings have distinctly reconstructed restrooms, cellars and basement spaces and attic terraces. In addition there are new apartments in the attic, which were built from the adjacent washrooms.

Color plays a very important role of interior and exterior design. Warm – colored faience facing is applied ( mainly yellow and red ) in the restrooms ( it´s also a low-cost solution ). In the staircases there is a prevailing shade of light warm grey accented by red and yellow. This all positively influences the human psychology.

These buildings on Nad Kajetánkou street 43/2, 42/4, 37/6, 36/8 were always residential and municipal. The buildings were extended and there are new glass elevator towers and glass entrance tubes. The glass elevator towers adjacent to the facades are partially mirrored and made from the stopsol glass, which eliminates greenhouse effect; this is namely the south facade. The elevator cabin itself is colored; outside and inside. This cabin is without a windows, because there is not an interesting view of the surroundings. The small apartments inside these buildings have distinctly reconstructed restrooms, cellars and basement spaces and attic terraces. In addition there are new apartments in the attic, which were built from the adjacent washrooms.

Color plays a very important role of interior and exterior design. The warm – colored faience facing is applied ( mainly yellow and red ) in the restrooms ( it´s also a low-cost solution ). In the staircases there is a prevailing shade of light warm grey accented by red and yellow. This all positively influences the human psychology.

These buildings enrich their surroundings with their colorful and unique exteriors and we often receive positive feedback from the comunity and professionals as well.
